From 17-19 June Pakhuis de Zwijger will end the season and opens the summer with a three day special program called Joint Venture. Media Guild will co-host the event.
Mayor Job Cohen will kick off on June 17th with his thoughts on the theme ‘high trust society’. Other speakers that night are in ‘Talk of the Town’: Giep Hagoort (lector HKU/UU) and Joeri van den Steenhoven (Kennisland), moderated by Ruben Maes. Journalist Pieter Hilhorst will speak with six cultural entrepeneurs about their vision of the future city: Marleen Stikker (Waag Society), Renny Ramakers (Droog Design), Marloes Krijnen (Foam), Marlies Rohmer (architect) and Ernestine Comvalius (Bijlmer Parktheater).
18 june is called Boosting talent. Obviously our Guild Members are part of the program that night. They will give away some sparkling pitches in between the program. For the rest you can meet up with Auke Ferwerda, Media Guild’s Screening and Scouting Manager, to get advise about your portfolio or start-up company.
19 June is about Pushing technology, with Beamlab. Among the guests are Sam Heady (Sin Sin Collective), media artist Arjen Bangma (Beyond Expression) and video artist Julika Rudelius. During the break live design battles! Boris van de Ven (Gamekings) will entertain with a show&talk What’s up? about gaming with guests Jan-Johan Belderok (Blammo Events), Ton Roosendaal (Blender), Guest Guild Member Ronald Lenz (7scenes) en Jasper Koning (Ronimo Games)
