ABN AMRO & MediaGuild discuss development of New Media Business

On Tuesday 25 March, MediaGuild opened its doors to a select group of representatives from ABN AMRO, a major Dutch Bank and a partner of the MediaGuild.

Purpose of the afternoon session was to get a mutual insight in the development of and investment in new Media, alongside a case-based overview of initiatives that are at the forefront of relevant developments. The diverse group of invitees included business and district directors of the bank, figureheads from Mediaguild and Waag Society and a host of external experts. (more…)

The topic of PartizanPublik’s third installment in the Masters of Intervention debating series revolves around the question: Can we engineer a happy society?

Amsterdam’s beautiful Felix Meritis conference venue sets the scene for a gentlemen’s conversation on social engineering and the limits of social interventions. On April 1st, Michael Shamiveh, a famous Austrian architect and Andrew Bullen, an established British media expert will present and discuss their answers to the question of to what extent the creative city can become an instrument for social change.
